A lot of people dream about getting married in The Emerald Isle. Many are unsure as to whether this is a possiblity or not! The answer in most cases is that YES it is possible.
In order for a couple to get married in Ireland, they must notify a Registrar of Marriages in person, no less than 3 months in advance, of their intention to marry. This rule applies to all marriages, both religious and civil.
The cost of notification of intention to marry is currently €150.00 and you may notify any Registrar.
